These are the names of colors in Bahasa Indonesia:
Red: Merah
Green: Hijau
Blue: Biru
Purple: Ungu
Yellow: Kuning
Black: Hitam
White: Putih
Orange: Jingga also popular with 'oranye'
Brown: Coklat
Gray: Abu-abu
How to say dark red, light green etc?
In Bahasa you should add word "tua" after the color name to say it is darker; and add "muda" after the color name if it is lighter.
Example:
Dark red: Merah tua
Pink: Merah muda, but also popular with 'pink' (Indonesian pronounce it ping)
Dark blue: Biru tua also popular with 'biru dongker'
Light blue: Biru muda
Dark green: Hijau tua
Light green: Hijau muda
